Contacting eCourses Support

PVAMU contracts with Instructure, the makers of Canvas which powers eCourses for 24/7 chat or phone support.

Student encountering issues in eCourses related to uploading or accessing assignments are encouraged to reach out to support immediately upon the error occurring.

Canvas closes assignments exactly at the cutoff point which varies professor by professor and may vary for the same professor between assignments.  An assignment not accepting a submission after the cutoff point is NOT a technical error.  

If an assignment was not submitted because of an upload issue, students are strongly encouraged to email their professors immediately to notify them and then contact Instructure support.   Read below for how to contact Instructure support.

You may wish to forward your chat transcript to your professor.  It will be emailed to your after the dialog is complete.

Step 1: Click on the Resources tab at the bottom of the Navigator Bar

Step 2: Click on Chat with Canvas Support (Students)

Step 3: Complete Header Information

Note: Email address must be @pvamu.edu email.

Step 4: Click Start Conversation

5.  Communicate with Agent -- Wait Times are typically under 3 minutes.
