Are there courses from past semesters on your eCourses Dashboard that you want to remove? Use the "Favorite" option.
STEP 1. Click the Courses button on the Canvas Global Menu.
STEP 2. Click the All Courses link from the fly-out menu.
STEP 3: On the All Courses page, find the course you want to remove from the Dashboard.
- Each course has a star to the left, in the Favorite column.
- If the star is a solid color, the course is favorited, and displays on the Dashboard.
- If the star is an outline, it is unfavorited, and does not appear on the Dashboard.
Important Note! If a star that is only an outline is shown for courses that are still displayed on your Dashboard, that means Canvas sees them as current courses for some reason, but no worries. Those courses will be removed from the Dashboard after you favorite the courses you want.
STEP 4: Click the star to unfavorite the courses and remove them from the Dashboard.
