Issue - When Logging Into eCourses (Canvas) a No Canvas User Message Appears
For Fall 2025, If you do not have account access after Tuesday, August 19, 2025 AND you are registered for classes in Panthertracks for Fall 2025 Full term or 1st 8 Weeks, email [email protected] or call (936) 261-3283. If your classes begin in October 2025, access to eCourses will be granted at the end of September.
Are you enrolling at PVAMU for the first time for a near future term (for example: It is July or early August and you are enrolled in Fall)?
Students enrolling for the first time at PVAMU will gain access to eCourses(Canvas) 7 to 10 days before the start of the term in which they first enroll as shown in the chart below. Â
Please note: If you register after the term begins, it can take up to 24 hours after registration appears in Panthertracks before access to eCourses is granted.
Even after access to eCourses (Canvas) is granted it is highly likely not all courses will be present as instructors may not open them to students until the first week of class. Refer to My Classes are Missing in eCourses! for details on how to determine if you are enrolled in an unopened class in eCourses.

PVAMU switched to Canvas in August 2020, if you are a returning student from before that time your account will become active 7 to 10 days before the semester in which you enrolled.
Contact [email protected] or call (936) 261-3283 if you do not have access 5 days before the term begins once you have verified in Panthertracks you are enrolled for the upcoming term.
Check for Late Start Classes
Please note students taking classes only in 2nd 8 Weeks (Spring/Summer) or 2nd 5 Weeks (Summer) will not gain access to eCourses until 7 to 10 days before those partial terms (In October for Fall, mid-March for Spring or late June for Summer).
