eSyllabus allows for copying between sections and semesters. There are two modes - Rapid and Normal.
Only submitted and approved syllabi may be copied. If your department uses the approval process system, copying between sections is not possible until approved.
When copying a section in eCourses, the syllabus will NOT copy with it. It must be transferred within eSyllabus.
In rapid copy mode all content is copied in one step. No selections are possible. If you only wish to copy some part of another syllabus use Normal Copy mode.
Step 1: Click eSyllabus in the target class (the one to copy into)

Step 2: Click Replace with a different Syllabus?

All published and approved syllabi with the same subject code as the current class will appear in the list.
Step 3: Select the term to copy from
Select the term code to distinguish between syllabi for this term and previous terms.

Step 4: Click on the class you wish to copy. An auto-copy dialog will appear.

Once the dialog ends the copy is complete.
Section and instructor specific information never copies between sections nor does standard language except for custom components.
In normal mode selection of specific sections to copy into the target syllabus is possible.
