This document is only intended for faculty/staff with administrative roles as explained above.
Video Overview
Document Status Report
The document status report provides information on activity. It can be configured in several ways.
Step 0: Access Dashboard
- Navigate to the Simple Syllabus Portal Login Page.
- Click the Login with PV Credentials button
- Follow login prompts
Step 1: Go to Reports (By default the reports page should open if you have access)
If the reports icon does not appear access can be requested by emailing [email protected] by appropriate authorities.
Step 2: Select the Document Status Report
Step 3: Configure Report
- Change the Types to Syllabus only (uncheck primary syllabi which are never published)
- Change Status to Not Started and In Progress
- Change Organization type to needed parameter
Step 4: Choose columns
- Items in Standard Columns are selected by default
- Toggle Enrollment Size On (some classes may have 0 enrollment)
- Toggle Instructor Email On
- Toggle Part of Term On (to determine which classes are 8 Week 2)
- Toggle Mode of Instruction if desired (Online classes may have higher priority for publication since no face to face syllabus day class)
You may optionally want CRN and Course Title if this information is useful to you.
Step 5: Run Report
Optionally Generate CSV for spreadsheet to work from.

| Not Started | Yes | This status is impossible | No |
| In Progress | No | Work has started on the syllabus, but it has never been published | No |
| In Progress | Yes | The syllabus has been published, but edits were made after publication that have not been submitted. | Yes, but only the previously published information is accessible to students. The new edits can not be seen. |
| Completed | Yes | The syllabus is published and current, with the most recent information added. | Yes |
Reporting access is perpetual until revoked via email to [email protected] by an appropriate authority.
