Starting in Spring 2025 the standard template will include eSyllabus as the third item in the course menu.
If classes are imported in from prior terms using the All content option, this will be overwritten and instructors must remove the Syllabus link and replace it with the eSyllabus link.
These steps are only necessary if you import a course from a prior semester into the current term using the All Content option. The default template is already setup correctly.

If using the Select specific content menu and unchecking the Course Settings option and Syllabus options, there will be no need to replace the Syllabus link with eSyllabus.

Placing the eSyllabus link in the Course menu is a minimum presence requirement.
Step 1 - Click on Setting in the Course menu (it is always the last option in the list)

Step 2 - Click on the Navigation Tab

Step 3 - Remove Syllabus from the Top Pane
- Click the 3 vertical dots next to Syllabus
- Click Disable

Step 4 - Add eSyllabus to the menu
- Locate eSyllabus in the lower list
- Click 3 vertical dots
- Click Enable

Step 5: Place eSyllabus in the 3rd position
When enabled eSyllabus will appear at the bottom of the upper list.
- Click on the three vertical dots next to eSyllabus (while in the upper list)
- Click Move

- In the Move Dialog, click After
- Click Announcements
- Click Move

Step 6: Save Your Work
- Scroll to the bottom of the screen (not shown)
- Click Save
