Determining which Syllabi are unpublished

Deans, Assistant/Associate Deans, and Department Heads may request reporting access to eSyllabus. They may designate administrative associates and/or program coordinators to have the same access.  Email [email protected] to request this access.  

This document is only intended for faculty with administrative roles as explained above.

Document Status Report

The document status report provides information on activity.   It can be configured in several ways.

Step 1: Go to Reports

If the reports icon does not appear access can be requested by emailing [email protected] by appropriate authorities.

Step 2: Select the Document Status Report

Step 2: Configure Report

  1. Change the Types to Syllabus only (uncheck primary syllabi which are never published)
  2. Change Status to Not Started and In Progress
  3. Change Organization type to needed parameter

Step 3: Choose columns

  1. Items in Standard Columns are selected by default
  2. Toggle Enrollment Size On (some classes may have 0 enrollment)
  3. Toggle Instructor Email On
  4. Toggle Part of Term On (to determine which classes are 8 Week 2)
  5. Toggle Mode of Instruction if desired (Online classes may have higher priority for publication since no face to face syllabus day class)

Step 3: Run Report

Optionally Generate CSV for spreadsheet to work from.

Revoking Access

Reporting access is perpetual until revoked via email to [email protected] by an appropriate authority.
