Accessing Adobe Acrobat Pro

Adobe Acrobat Pro is licensed for all PVAMU staff and faculty.  Student employees and graduate assistants will need to their departments to contact CITE to grant a license for use.

Acrobat Pro is different from Acrobat Reader.  Only Pro desktop includes the tools necessary to remediate PDFs to meet accessibility standards.

Steps to Access Adobe Acrobat Pro

It is necessary to acquire the desktop version of Acrobat Pro to remediate content in PDFs

Step 1: Navigate to Adobe Website

Step 2: Click Sign In

Adobe: Creative, marketing and document management solutions - Google Chrome

Step 3: Enter faculty/staff @pvamu.edu email address

Sign in - Google Chrome

Step 4: Click Company or School Account

Select an account - Google Chrome

Step 5: Complete SSO steps as prompted (not shown)

Step 6: Click on Acrobat

Home | Adobe - Google Chrome

Step 7: Click on Download Acrobat apps

Step 8: Click on Download next to Adobe Acrobat Pro

Adobe Acrobat Pro has web based and desktop based versions.  Only the desktop version has the remediation tools.

Step 9: Complete install wizard as prompted (not shown)
